Password Issues

My Password Has Expired

Passwords may expire and require a reset for several reasons:
  • Password expiration requirements
  • Security policy updates
  • Detection of unusual sign-in activity

Password Reset Requirement

Password Complexity Requirements

Passwords must meet the following criteria:
  • Between 16 and 20 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter
  • At least one lowercase letter
  • At least one number or symbol
  • Cannot include:
    • Your name
    • Part of your name
    • A previously used password

If you are unable to connect to campus Wi-Fi:

  3. Confirm your device is configured using the appropriate Wi-Fi setup instructions.

Trust On First Use (TOFU)

Many newer devices now provide a security certificate option called Trust On First Use (TOFU) when connecting to wireless networks.
